Meet Jeff · Founder · THX Certified Pro II
One man. One measurement mic. Thirty years.
It started with a teenager, a mono TV, and a little device called the Teledapter TE-250. It hasn't stopped since.

Jeff Alegria
Founder · THX Certified Pro II
Licensed CA B General Contractor · Calibrating Bay Area rooms since 1993
How It Started
Sold his Hot Wheels.
Bought an amplifier.
Jeff Alegria has been chasing the "wow" moment ever since. The first time you hear a properly calibrated room, the floor drops out -- the dialogue sits in the air in front of you, the score wraps around your head, the bass moves through your chest. He fell in love with that feeling as a kid and built a career making other people feel it in their living rooms.
In 1993 he took over Audio Video Dimensions. For the past 30+ years he has been turning Bay Area homes into personal cinemas, listening rooms, and entertainment spaces that outperform what most people thought their house could do.
"Using technology is an art that requires a human touch."
— Jeff
No cookie-cutter installs. No subcontracted labor. No project manager between you and the hands doing the work. The man tuning your front stage is the same man you called.
The House Rules
Three things never change.
The room first, the gear second.
A $200K stack in an untreated room sounds worse than a $20K stack in a room dialed in right. Acoustics, layout, and calibration win every time.
Measurement, not marketing.
Every install gets the REW mic and the Anthem ARC pass. The room either hits the target curve or Jeff isn't leaving.
If you can hear the gear, it's wrong.
You should hear the kick drum, the dialogue, the rain in the back-left -- not the speaker, the amp, or the cable. Gear that disappears is gear that works.

How Jeff Works
Listen. Measure. Tune. Stay until it's right.
Walk the room
Free in-home consultation. Jeff measures the space, asks how you actually live in it, and tells you straight what's possible.
Design the system
Speaker layout, calibration targets, equipment selection. Built to your space, your budget, your taste.
Install + calibrate
Jeff personally runs the cable, mounts the gear, and dials in every speaker with reference-grade tools.
Stay until it sings
He doesn't leave until the room is doing exactly what it should -- and you're grinning.
Work With Jeff
Same hands. Same room. Yours next.
Free in-home consultation. No middlemen, no sales pitch -- just Jeff walking your space.
