Audio Video Dimensions is a technology contractor based out of the San Francisco Bay Area. We provide design and installation of electronic systems for your home or business. Installations include home theater, multi-room audio, lighting control, networking and surveillance systems. Our goal is to meet your needs by both working within your budget and providing you with a system that is user friendly. No matter what the project may be, big or small, we strive for perfection.
Who We Are
Audio Video Dimensions is located in the San Francisco Bay Area and has been owned and operated by Jeff Alegria since 1993. From the beginning Jeff has desired to provide his customers with the best Audio/Video experience possible. This is why he has been trained by the Lucasfilm THX program and he currently holds the highest certification available which makes him a THX level ll Home Theater technician. Also, he has had an ongoing relationship with the professional technicians at Dolby Labs since many of them were previously employed at Lucasfilm THX.
Throughout the years 1993 until 2008 he has been a member of the Custom Electronics Design and Installation Association and has received certification from them in the following categories, Professional Installer, Advanced Home Theater, Multi Room Audio and Video, and Lamps Fixtures and Lighting Techniques, just to name a few. Other education includes training from many of the product lines he sells such as Lutron, CasaTunes, NUVO, Niles, Russound, and both Rti and Universal Remote Control. Jeff is also a licensed B General Contractor and brings his years of construction experience to ensure your project is installed properly and safely providing you with many years of lasting entertainment.

Meet the team:
Jeff Alegria – founder / senior technician
Jeff’s passion is bringing theater-quality video and audio to customized spaces like yours. His passion began when, as a teenager, his father gave him a piece of equipment that would “…Simulate surround sound from your mono TV so that you would think you are there in the movie.” This piece of equipment was the “Teledapter TE-250” Jeff then sold all his Hot Wheels so that he could buy a Quadraflex 777. When he combined the two components with four speakers….. Wow! Jeff had a vision of blacking out his bedroom window, painting fresco on the walls and installing a big screen.
Many years later Jeff started down a road toward making his dream and hobby his career.That road has brought him through years of education, training and certification, resulting in his current level of expertise. He is recognized by THX as a “THX Certified Professional Home Theater II,” the highest level of THX home theater certification. Licensed by the State of California as a General Contractor, he serves at the highest level of professionalism and greatest degree of personal service.
Jeff has been a part of Audio Video Dimensions since the early-1990s when he apprenticed with the company’s original founder. Jeff eventually transitioned into the ownership position and has overseen every aspect of the business since 1995. Jeff is so passionate about his vocation that he feels a sense of destiny regarding it, and is deeply satisfied when he is able to see his clients thoroughly enjoy their home theaters.
